Welcome to Brixham Historic Houses - Luxury Self Catering Holiday Accommodation in Brixham, South Devon. The Hill House, Captain's Quarters and Gull's Nest were built in 1861, as one property, for a sea captain of a three masted schooner who traded around the world.

The position on top of St. Peter's Hill allowed Captain Schjonermann to keep a sharp eye on what was going on while he was in port. Every window has a panoramic view of the harbour, Torbay, Lyme Bay and the Dorset Coast.
